Carolina Franke, Bed, MC:AT, is a professional member of the Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association and Canadian Art Therapy Association. Currently she works as a Manager of Student Advocacy Counsellors and Community Supports for Northern Lights Public schools and as a community animator for the Canadian Mental Health Association. Carolina is dedicated to the promotion of positive mental health in schools and community through both universal and targeted supports. As an art teacher and art therapist she has witnessed and believes strongly in the healing power of art.

Her counselling and art therapy practice focuses specifically on issues related to complex trauma, anxiety, mood and personality disorders, and identity and she works primarily with child and adolescent populations. Throughout her studies Carolina has been interested in holistic promotion of mental wellness, neurological basis of mental health, and somato-sensory and non verbal approaches to healing.
