Why do lenses vary in price so much and how to get the most from your camera and it's lenses. What distortions do lenses have. Attendees should know basic camera operation of a DSLR or mirrorless cameras to get the full impact of this session.

Are you looking for a new, exciting art idea for your students in grades 1-9? In this workshop, you will learn how to create colourful fish using mixed media technique. The level of difficulty can be adjusted according to the grade level taught. Open to art and general teachers of grades 1- 9. You will be provided with a set of handouts and a PowerPoint presentation that can be used directly in your art classrooms. All supplies provided by instructor.
$10 registration fee.

There will also be 10 'booths' sectioned off and scheduled for specific collaboration topics.

Use the collaboration booths to spark conversation with others about all sorts of education topics! Use an available space to sit down and continue a discussion from a session you just attended, or to start the work it has inspired. This is YOUR space to develop the knowledge and networks you gain at convention.

This session combines techniques and strategies to effectively use the vibrant colours of the oil pastels. Creating new colours, blending colours and achieving texture will be explored by step-by-step demonstration of each project. These projects can be modified for any grade level and abilities.
