Want to immerse your student population in competition involving solar power? Charger Wars is a competition occurring at St. Paul Regional High School that involves students charging their portable devices with solar outlets installed in their Science classroom. Currently, we are hoping to grow this competition into other schools who have or are looking to install solar power – essentially creating an Alberta-wide Charger Wars competition. Schools competing against other schools to divert the most power away from the grid by charging only cell phones! Come learn about how we set up our system and the various grants you can apply to for funding. This session will include a short presentation to be followed with majorly collaborative work on how to initiate such a project. Let's make Charger Wars: Alberta happen!
